The MJP Wealth Advisors Fairfield Road Race returns in 2023 with the signature two-day event at Jennings Beach in Fairfield, CT.  Based on strong early registrations, race organizers are expecting this year’s race to grow by over 20% (over 3,000 runners) along with thousands of spectators.

New this year, the half marathon was selected to host the Connecticut State Championship. This will draw the best distance runners and running clubs in the state to compete.

On Saturday, June 3rd the 5K and Lil’ Stags Kids Fun Run will take place. The half marathon will be held on Sunday, June 4th. The “Lucas Challenge” sponsored by Fairfield University, challenges runners to conquer both the half marathon and the 5k, totaling 18.2 miles during both days of the race weekend.

The Post-Race Beach Party, a runner favorite, features live music, food vendors, and an awards ceremony. The race also includes several bands and cheer groups along the ½ marathon and 5K racecourses that cheer on all the runners as they pass.

The MJP Wealth Advisors Fairfield Road Race is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that supports numerous local charities each year. The Fairfield YMCA, Wakeman Boys and Girls Club, Ben’s Lighthouse, Hole in the Wall Gang, and Community Emergency Response Team are just a few of the organizations that receive thousands of dollars of annual support from the event.
